How to wear the washboard
Hang it vertically down the chest.
Hold it horizontally across the lap.
Mount it on a stand. 
Hold it between the legs while seated, so that both sides of the board can be played at the same time.
 
How to play the washboard
The washboard is played by tapping or scraping the washboard with thimbles, washboard gloves, spoon handles or bottle openers. Add your own cans, woodblocks, cymbal,  or cowbell.
